This 1965 Alfa is a true factory Giulia Spider Veloce. Produced March 20, 1965 and shipped to Alfa-Romeo of Newark, New Jersey on April 1, 1965. It was fully restored to showroom condition approximately 10 years ago and then acquired by well-known racer, dealer and classic car enthusiast, Monte Shelton (1933-2019) as a part of his personal collection. With Monte's recent passing, this Veloce is now being offered for sale.

Note: Serial Number is: AR 390341. This is a numbers-matching car.

Bill Gillham added this from a different website: "It was once my car, also Les Hurlock's and Bill Eastman, it is being sold y the son of Monte Shelton in Portland. Hurlock bought it in 1975 or '76, He drove it nearly every non-rainey day for his commute to work. I bought it from Les in '88 and did the lacquer paint job that is on it now, I believe I fixed any rust that was in it at that time. I traded it to Bill Eastman for a Sprint Veloce in about 1998. I believe Bill sold it to Monte several years later.
I drove the car on several Northwest Classic Rallys and loaned it to Mike Hemsley for another. It is a very nice and original 1600 Spider Veloce."
