HISTORY:

Alfaholics is pleased to offer this stunning Giulia Spider Veloce for sale. This is a unique opportunity to buy one of the very rare, low production volume, factory “Veloce” specification Giulia Spiders presented in A1 concours condition and finished in arguably the prettiest of colours, Celeste blue. This car is not to be confused with lesser non-Veloce (Normale) specification cars or indeed Normale cars converted to twin carburettors. The wonderfully revvy 1600 twin carburettor engine matched with a 5 speed gearbox and Girling disc brakes on the front, make these factory Veloce examples drive incredibly well, by far and away the most useable and enjoyable 750/101 series model to drive.

This example was originally supplied through Alfa Romeo Newark USA on 1st June 1965 to Texas, where it lived most of its life, the dry climate preserving the body incredibly well. A long term close associate of Alfaholics sourced the car from Texas to add to his large collection of Alfas. On importing to Europe, a total bareshell concours restoration was carried out to very exacting standards. Since restoration, the car has only had light use of 3,000kms.
