PREVIOUS OWNERS:

The Giulietta Sprint Speciale offered here is a 1963 model. It has been fitted with a later 1570cc. Giulia engine with a pair of twin-choke Weber carburetors and it has been prepared for historic racing but without spoiling its usefulness and enjoyment as a road car. The rear seats have been removed, a roll bar installed and the front seats replaced by a pair from a Duetto spider. A plexiglas bug deflector is mounted in front of the windshield and the bumpers have been removed. Competition seat belts and a Nardi woodrim steering wheel completes the package.

I bought this car at a Bonham's auction in 2007 and have driven it regularly. It was a gentleman's vintage racer (I first saw it racing at Lime Rock) including racing tires when I fiirst bought it. The car is in good condition and is a lot of fun! Unfortunatelyh I do not have the bumpers for the car. I have had a new exhaust installed, new master cylinder and new tires. It really runs well and everything works and the car passes state inspection. The problems with it are the missing bumpers, paint is not very good, though it looks great, head liner has hole in it. (I beleive at one time car may have had a spot light mounted on roof for rallying) The second gear synchro is soft and the speedometer needle just fell off one day. There seems to be  no rust on the car and has been well taken care of. The speedometer reads 29,000 miles but who knows! The car is in remarkably good condition and my reserve is way below all the cars that have been  on Ebay lately! This is my first car sale on Ebay and I strongly suggest you look at the car before you buy it. I will answer all questions I can.
