The owner says, "Hello. Sorry I don't have any history on it. I saved it from an old salvage yard. "
This 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce is a rolling project that is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission and a black fiberglass hardtop. The car was reportedly parked in 1968 and was acquired by the seller approximately a year ago. The car is finished in red and retains 15″ steel wheels, a steering wheel, Veglia gauges, and a front grille. This Spider Veloce is now offered as a non-running project at no reserve with spare parts and a clean Oklahoma title.
The car is finished in red and features a black finished hardtop and a replacement grille secured with zip ties. The bumpers, headlights, taillights, and trim are missing, while the door glass and an additional passenger door is included in the sale. There is damage to the nose, dents throughout the body, and rust in the rockers and rear quarter panels. The passenger door is not secured with hinges.
Silver-finished 15″ wheels wear Alfa-Romeo crested hubcaps and are mounted with 165-series Metric Radial tires. Drum brakes are fitted at each corner.
The interior has been stripped apart from the dash, gearshift lever, and steering wheel. There are rust holes in the floors and trunk, and additional photos showing the condition of the interior are provided in the gallery.
Veglia instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 53k miles.
The car is not equipped with an engine. The four-speed manual transmission and rear end remain installed and the seller states that the transmission can be run through the gears. Rust on the frame is shown in the gallery. The car has reportedly been parked since 1968 and the Oklahoma title notes a “Classic” brand.
