title Chassis No. AR381060 Engine No. AR00121-00932 - A rare and exclusive model - A superb design In the late 1950s, enthusiast drivers could no longer be content with the Giulietta Sprint therefore, Romeo Alfa offered them Sprint Speciale, a bold and streamlined design by Franco Scaglione, for Bertone.

With its low Cx and with the engine of the Giulietta Sprint Veloce, the car was capable of almost 200 km/h. The car evolved with the range in 1963 and received the 1600cc engine of the Giulia, which brought with more torque and greater driving comfort. The production of these exclusive models was very limited, with a total of 1,366 units, including only 114 Giulias. Acquired by the current owner at the end of 2004, this Alfa Romeo was Giulia Sprint Speciale first registered in Switzerland on 1st August 1965. Red in color, the car underwent a strict Swiss expertise in May 2005 mentioning: "Remarkable state, perfect mechanicals, level 2 qualification." The current owner has used it repeatedly for historical rallies in Switzerland, France and Italy. The front shock absorbers were replaced in 2007, and an engine-transmission check was executed in 2010 by an Alfa Romeo specialist in the canton of Bern. This same specialist was responsible for a thorough engine overhaul in May 2011, for a total cost of 16,500 Swiss francs. The car on offer comes with a set of documents confirming its history. This is a fine example of one of the most desirable and most elegant of all the many Giulia models, combining style, sportiness and exclusivity.
