ALFA ROMEO Giulia 1600 Sprint Speciale (101.21) – Chassis AR380075 – Bluette with white Alfa cloth and blue leatherette interior – Manufactured by Carrozzeria Bertone on the 17th of September 1963 and sold in Pescara, Italy on the 3rd of October 1963 Fully restored, end of restoration in July 2017, over 2000 hours of labour: BODY – Stripped to bare metal and re-sprayed in its original color, as stated by Alfa Romeo Heritage – Complete new set of seals and rubbers – Extensive metal works, 80% of panels fabricated by hand from new stainless steel sheets – Hand fabricated floors, boot panels, wings, reinforced chassis structures – Underbody re-commissioning and detailing – All bright works repaired, copper plated and re-chromed starting from original parts – Body waxed and protected against corrosion – All component have been cleaned and refurbished INTERIOR – Totally re-trimmed interior starting from original ALFA ROMEO materials (carpets, Alfa Vipla, cloth, under-carpet material, headlining) – Original dashboard top and bottom covers – Original instrument clocks fully refurbished by instrument specialist – Original steering wheel, knobs, door furniture, glasses and bright works MECHANICAL – Overhauled Engine, gearbox, suspensions, steering box, complete service with oils, fluids and filters replacement, gearbox and differential oil – Rebuilt brake calipers + rear drums + fresh brake fluid – New gaskets and seals + new fuel line (original Alfa Romeo parts) – Timing set up and distributor refurbishment – New ignition wirings, period specification and color – Extensive road test (hot weather, cold weather, humid environment) for 1.500Km
